Dr. Dwayne Wolf is the Deputy Chief Medical Examiner for the Office of the Medical Examiner of Harris County and a clinical assistant professor of pathology for Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas School of Medicine. He has held professional positions with the Galveston County Medical Examiner Office, the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences and a fellowship with the Dade County Medical Examiner Office in Miami, Florida. Dr. Wolf was also a clinical assistant professor in the University of South Alabama Medical Center´s Department of Pathology. He is a member of the National Association of Medical Examiners and the Southern Medical Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Dr. Wolf is also a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Forensic Pathology.
Dr. Wolf´s research centers on forensic pathology, specifically injury and injury mechanisms. Through collaborations with institutions in the Texas Medical Center, he also investigates the use of advanced diagnostic technologies in postmortem studies.
