Dr. Kim earned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She completed her clinical internship at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System – West Haven, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in adult clinical neuropsychology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Research interests

Prior to joining Houston Methodist, she held a clinical faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology within UTHealth Houston Neurosciences/McGovern Medical School where she conducted neuropsychological evaluations, taught neurology clerkship lectures to medical students, supervised neuropsychology trainees, and collaborated on research studies. She has been an active member in local and national organizations, including service on the Board for the Houston Neuropsychological Society and for the APA Division 40, Women in Neuropsychology Committee.
