N2 - Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI) at high magnetic field (3 Tesla) is rapidly evolving with many promising results. However, the challenges of field inhomogeneities and specific absorption rate limitations need to be addressed before reaping the benefits of high magnetic field for CMRI. This review focuses on the methods to overcome some of these challenges and the current and potential applications of this technology.
