Dr. Hegde was awarded the Dr. Arturo Melo's Outstanding Science Award 2018 by Dr. George Motta, Panama's Minister of Science. Dr. Hedge was invited to lecture on “Genome Maintenance Defects and Neurodegeneration - Molecular Mechanisms to Therapy” at INDICASAT in June.
