Dr. Hong joined the Methodist Hospital in 2005 after completing his postdoctoral training. While at Methodist, he has served as a member of the Cardiology Care Management Performance Improvement Committee, and the Electrophysiology and Pacemaker Intervention Quality Management Subcommittee.

Research interests

Dr. Hong´s research focuses on cardiac electrophysiology. In 2004, he received funding from the American Society of Echocardiography for his study that tested a real-time three-dimensional echocardiography technique to measure ventricular dyssynchrony and to asses cardiac resynchronization therapy. He is currently a sight principal investigator for the NIH sponsored PACE-MI clinical trial.
