Abstract

To the Editor: The review (Aug. 22 issue)* of the book Localization in Clinical Neurology contains an imprecision we would like to clarify. The following statement is incorrect: “One figure (illustrating decorticate and decerebrate posturing) is apparently… traced from that source [Plum and Posner's The Diagnosis of Stupor and Coma (Philadelphia: F.A. Davis), third edition, 1980] (but no credit is given in the legend).” The figure alluded to was the original work of Joseph Knisely of New York, and differs from the figures in the book by Drs. Plum and Posner., No extract is available for articles shorter than 400 words.
