Abstract

There are numerous studies evaluating the treatment options for diabetic retinopathy. However, there are limited universal guidelines to assist clinicians regarding initial therapeutic choices, when to change therapies, the role of combination therapy, and when treatment can be stopped or minimally maintained without risk for visual loss. In this chapter, real patients with complicated yet common clinical scenarios are presented and treatment options are discussed.
