Abstract

A Mori-Tanaka analysis of the joint effect of fiber geometry and bi- or tri-dimensional misalignment on the effective elastic response of fiber-reinforced polyester is performed. Isotropic (fiberglass) and transversely isotropic (graphite) fibers are considered.
