Abstract
Eosinophilic meningitis is a relatively rare entity which has been associated in the past with lymphomatous involvement of the central nervous system in only a single case of Hodgkin's disease. The authors report what they believe to be the first case in association with non Hodgkin's lymphoma of the brain. This histologic type of lymphoma is known to have a high incidence of bone marrow and central nervous system involvement. To the authors' knowledge, however, the unusual manifestation of eosinophilic meningitis in association with lymphomatous meningitis has not been previously reported.
