Abstract
The estimation of migration force for stent was presented. On investigating the drag force on a three dimensional strut structure, the drag force appeared to be a function of strut configuration. It was found that the deformation of the strut was mostly due to the bending of the strut, and a wider strut provided a linear increase in stiffness.
