N2 - Eyelid cancers, like most malignancies, are on the rise, creating an ever-enlarging population of patients with these diseases. Trends in eyelid cancer diagnosis, prognostic evaluation, prevention, and management are reviewed. Special emphasis is placed upon understanding perineural invasion by squamous cell carcinoma, the role of genetic mutations in eyelid cancer development and prognosis, and new techniques for total upper eyelid reconstruction.
