Abstract

Houston Methodist’s culture is based on the simple values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence-which are all signified by the acronym I CARE. We all share these values, and our experience shows that our patients’ experiences are positively affected by these values. Our workforce recounts stories to inspire and remind our employees that our patients are at the center of everything we do. We continue to focus on the future with a tireless emphasis on improving patient outcomes and sustaining a remarkable culture for our employees. Our values are the heart and lifeblood of Houston Methodist’s mission and drive everything we do.
