Influence of in vitro experimental conditions on drug diffusion in cornea and sclera

Abstract

Diffusion of several chemical agents in rabbit cornea and sclera (dissected and in whole eyeballs) was studied using OCT technique. Demonstrated, that permeability coefficients for the same agents are significantly different in different experimental conditions.
