Abstract

Uveal melanoma has in the liver the most common site of metastases. Although there is no clear consensus about the management of metastatic uveal melanoma, therapy directed specifically toward secondary liver lesions has been associated with notable clinical utility. In this chapter, we present an overview of the different treatment options that have been evaluated with and supported by sound scientific bases, from surgical approaches to interventional radiology options. Specific indications, limitations, and outcomes of each need to be kept in mind to offer the most appropriate patient-centered care.
