Abstract
T cells play a central role in cancer immunosurveillance, autoimmune, and infectious diseases. Identification of MHC class I- and II-restricted T cell peptides is a critical step for the development of effective vaccines against cancer and infectious diseases. This unit describes a cDNA expression system and a genetic targeting expression system for the cloning of genes encoding forMHC class I- and II-restricted antigens recognized by antigen-specific CD8+ and CD4+ T cells.
