This chapter aims to evaluate the phenomenon of the oligometastatic state, rationales for utilizing local therapy (surgical and radiotherapeutic), as well as summarize the available evidence thereof. A discussion on interactions of local therapy with immunotherapy, ongoing clinical trials, and optimal patient selection is also conducted.",
