Abstract

This note addresses the problem of determining the elastic field in an homogeneous isotropic body undergoing a spatially constant eigenstraining process in a non-dilute concentration of internal regions. The relation of this to the elastic boundary value problems for the general biphase composite is determined, via a system of singular boundary integral equations.
