Abstract

Presents a computer program for the static and dynamic analysis of tall buildings. Matrix condensation and multi level substructuring are used to minimize memory requirements. Describes how the overall stiffness matrix, mass matrix and damping matrix are established. The dynamic equilibrium equations are directly integrated using the Newmark procedure. (C.J.U.)
