Abstract

Modern mastectomies have evolved to less invasive skin and nipple-sparing techniques which has led to direct to implant reconstruction in the pre-pectoral plane, as a replacement of the removed corpus mammae. We describe our technique for pre-pectoral reconstruction using a bio-absorbable monofilament mesh scaffold and autologous fat grafting.
